As a 19 year old full time student, my life completely revolves around my education at university. Last September I took a leap of faith and moved to Edinburgh to start my first year and it’s soooo crazy to me to think that it’s coming to an end already. I’m set to move out on the 31st of May and as I began to reflect on the whirlwind of a year that I’ve had, I thought that it would be interesting to document it somehow. As fun as the idea seemed to myself, I also wondered if any of the experiences that I had to share and the knowledge that I had to impart would help any other prospective or current students, hence the creation of this platform. I have an extremely loose plan of the things that I would like to share on Just a Student, including easy recipes, past student experiences, fun projects that I’m working on and travel stories. I honestly would not mind if no one where to ever read a post, I have a summer of doing nothing ahead of me and I love the idea of having a project in which I can channel all of my energy.
